日本国内のデザイナーズブランドを中心に、洋服、バッグ、ジュエリー、インテリア、香りのものなどを取り扱っています。

大量生産では見えにくい素材の表情、パターンの美しさ、作り手の思想を大切にしながら、時間が経っても愛着を持てるものを提案しています。

新品の完成された美しさだけではなく、着用や使用を重ねることで生まれる経年変化も含めて、その人の暮らしに静かに馴染んでいくものを選んでいます。

vicica は日本の伝統的な美意識文化、侘び寂びの「寂び」に焦点を当てました。
「侘び寂び」とは本来別々な言葉を繋げた言葉です。 寂び=経年変化で劣化した様。その変化が織りなす多様で独特な美しさ

の様に店舗理念を掲げ「寂び」の美意識文化をコンセプトに今の日本らしさを表現します。
日本は外国からの多様な文化が入り、混ざり合い独特な美しい文化と感じています。
その事から「寂び」を解体、再構築し、vicica の店名に組み込んでいます。
「寂び=然び」 と言う説もあり
内から出てくる現象から然となります。
その事から当店では「然」を採用して
コンセプトに組み込んでいます。

VICICA is a select shop located in Omotecho, Kita Ward, Okayama.

We mainly introduce Japanese designer brands, offering clothing, bags, jewelry, interior objects, fragrances, and other carefully selected items.

Rather than following mass production, we value the subtle character of materials, the beauty of pattern making, and the philosophy of each creator. Our selection is built around pieces that can be cherished over time.

We do not only look for the beauty of something new and complete. We also find value in the changes that appear through wearing, using, and living with an object — the patina, texture, and quiet depth that develop over time.

VICICA draws inspiration from the traditional Japanese aesthetic of wabi-sabi, with a particular focus on “sabi.”

Wabi-sabi is formed from two originally separate ideas.

“Sabi” refers to the beauty that emerges through age, change, and the passage of time. It is the unique expression created as something gradually transforms.

“Wabi” is the sensibility of accepting imperfection and finding richness within it.

With ideas such as “finding beauty in change” and “harmony within imperfection,” VICICA expresses a contemporary Japanese aesthetic through the concept of sabi.

Japan has long absorbed and blended diverse cultures from abroad, creating its own distinct sense of beauty. In the same way, VICICA deconstructs and reconstructs the idea of sabi, incorporating it into the name of the shop.

There is also an interpretation that “sabi” can be written as “然び,” with “然” referring to what naturally arises from within.

For this reason, VICICA adopts the character “然” as part of its concept.

By deconstructing and reconstructing the words:

“然” = shika
“美” = beauty

the name VICICA was born.
