この一着に使われているのは、世界でもごく一部の人しか触れることのない、**“スビンコットン”の中でもさらに希少な〈初摘み〉だけを使用した「スビンプラチナム」**という最高級原料。

スビンコットンとは、「スジャータ種（インド）」と「シーアイランドコットン（海島綿）」を交配して生まれた超長綿。
その中でも特に繊維長が長く、油分を含み、絹のような光沢を持つことで知られています。
世界中の高級メゾンや老舗シャツブランドが惚れ込む理由は、その圧倒的なしなやかさ・強さ・美しさにあります。

さらにこの製品に使われている「スビンプラチナム」は、そのスビンコットンの中でも最も繊維の状態が良いとされる“初摘み”のみを手摘みで収穫した原料。
わずかしか収穫できないため非常に希少で、その肌触りはまさに別格です。
一度触れると、一般的なコットンが“ざらり”と感じてしまうほどの滑らかさと潤い感。

⁡編み地は「スムース組織」。しっかりとした厚みとハリがあり、着たときのフォルムを美しく立体的に保ってくれるのも特徴です。
肌に当たる面積が広くなるこの構造だからこそ、スビンプラチナムの魅力がダイレクトに伝わります。

また、細部の仕立てにも一切の妥協はありません。
袖口や裾は、「天地縫い」という高難度の縫製技術で丁寧に仕上げられています。
表裏の生地を内側で合わせ、縫い目を極力表に出さず、すっきりとした見た目に仕上げる手法ですが、
この滑りやすく繊細なスビン生地で正確に天地縫いを施すには、熟練の技術が必要とされます。
それでもあえてこの縫い方を選んだのは、見た目の美しさと着心地、どちらも犠牲にしないため。
“何気ないようで、見えないところに圧倒的な差”がある――そんな一着です。

This dress is made from Kid Mohair blend tropical fabric produced by the renowned Bishi textile company, “Katsuriki Mohair Co., Ltd.” It combines the drapability and structure that come from the delicate fusion of Super 100s wool and Kid Mohair, creating a unique texture that Itochi prefers. The softness and sheen of the Kid Mohair, along with the flexibility of the Super 100s wool, provide an elegant and luxurious feel.

The design aims to embody one of the brand’s core concepts: “First and foremost, the sense of excitement.” This piece was created to ensure an elevated feeling of joy and comfort when worn, while maintaining a perfect balance between functionality and beauty. The silhouette is a revival of a sleeveless dress that was well-received in previous seasons. Please note that it does not feature a packable design.

Although the fabric originally has a classic impression, being typically used for tailoring, the incorporation of contrasting reflector cord details brings a more dynamic, active feel. This fusion results in a timeless item that defies categorization, blending classic elegance with a modern edge.

Iridescent Charcoal
This color is a new addition to the Kid Mohair tropical fabric that has been woven for nearly 40 years at Katsuriki Mohair. It was created with input from the Itochi designer during the sample weaving process. The rich, iridescent shade adds depth and a unique glow.

Katsuriki Mohair Co., Ltd.
This Kid Mohair blend tropical fabric is woven with great care using a traditional Shuttle Loom, an antique machine that has been used for more than a century. The warp and weft threads are woven in contrasting colors, creating a “iridescent” effect, with shades of gray and blue emerging depending on the angle. The fabric changes expression as it moves, adding to the unique character of the garment.

About the materials
The wool used in this dress is made from Super 100s raw material, ensuring a high level of quality and refinement. Only the softest wool from Kid Mohair under one year old is used, resulting in an incredibly smooth texture with natural luster. This carefully selected combination of materials provides an exceptional feel, elegant shine, and luxurious comfort.

Blending traditional weaving techniques with contemporary design, this dress is a high-quality and stylish piece that can easily be paired with various outfits for any occasion, while exuding sophistication and confidence.
