mnoi（ムノイ）は2018年に生まれた、革と真鍮のプロダクトレーベル。
使い手と作品が“永く寄り添う”ことを軸に、日々の景色に小さな変化を灯す道具をつくります。

革は兵庫・姫路／たつののタンナーと向き合い、神戸牛の原皮を活かしたものや、色・触感にこだわったオリジナルレザーを開発。
千年の伝統に学びながら、手に触れる質感を更新していきます。

真鍮は一枚の板から糸ノコで一つずつ切り出し、“透かし”で模様を描き、幾種のヤスリで仕上げる。
機械では出せない柔らかいフォルムと、手に取ったときのやさしさを大切にしています。

肉厚でシボの表情が美しい、牛革のショルダーバッグ「C bag」。

丸底のワンハンドルで、
肩にかけたときに本体がショルダーを包み込むようなデザイン。

柔らかなナチュラルシュリンクレザーだからこそ出るドレープが、
シルエットにすっと縦のラインをつくり、
見た目にもスリムな印象を与えてくれます。

間からのぞくショルダー部分と、
さりげなくきらめく鏡面ゴールドの金具が、
静かなアクセント。

開閉は、真鍮色のマグネットホックでワンタッチ。
内側には手触りのよいディアスウェードを配し、
小物を仕分けできるポケットがひとつ付属しています。

本体には、兵庫でつくられたナチュラルシュリンクレザー。

mnoi is a leather and brass product label founded in 2018.
With “long companionship” as its core idea,
the brand creates tools that quietly bring small changes
to everyday scenes.

Working closely with tanneries in Himeji and Tatsuno (Hyogo),
mnoi develops original leathers that make use of Kobe beef raw hides
and pursue distinctive color and tactile qualities.
Learning from a thousand years of leather tradition,
they continue to refine the textures that our hands feel.

Brass parts are each cut out by hand from a single sheet
using a fretsaw, patterns are drawn with openwork,
and the surfaces are finished with multiple files.
The brand cherishes the gentle forms and soft presence
that machines cannot reproduce,
and the kindness you feel the moment you hold a piece in your hand.

The “C bag” is a shoulder bag crafted from thick natural shrink cow leather
with a beautifully textured grain.

Its round-bottom one-handle design allows the body of the bag
to gently wrap around your shoulder when worn,
creating soft drapes and a clean vertical line
that lends a slim, elongated impression.

A glimpse of the shoulder part and a small piece of mirror-finish gold hardware
add a quiet, elegant accent.

The bag closes with a brass-colored magnetic snap for easy one-touch opening.
Inside, it is lined with soft deer suede
and features a single pocket for organizing small items.

The main body uses natural shrink leather produced in Hyogo, Japan,
while the handle is made from vegetable-tanned leather
from the Santa Croce area in Italy.

A. The leather is thick, but thanks to the natural shrink process,
　the bag is lighter than it looks and comfortable for daily use.

Q. Will the grain look the same on every bag?
A. No. Because the grain is created by shrinking the hide,
　it varies naturally depending on the part of the leather
　(belly, back, etc.) and how each panel is cut.
　If you are particular about the exact look,
　please feel free to contact us before purchasing.

Q. Does the color transfer?
A. There is a possibility of color transfer when the leather is wet
　from rain or perspiration, especially onto light-colored garments.
　Please take care in such conditions.
