kotohayokozawaは、何気ない日常から生まれる感情を起点に、服と身体、身につける人の振る舞いのつながりを探り続けるブランドです。

2015年に横澤琴葉によってスタート。メインラインに加え、実験的なものづくりを行うtodo kotohayokozawaや、古着を再構築するsomebody kotohayokozawaを展開しています。

About the Item / 商品について

TDX6A-TDWR06「TODO WAVE TOP *LONGSLEEVE HIGHNECK」は、todo kotohayokozawaを象徴するWAVE TOPシリーズを、長袖とハイネックで仕立てたモデルです。

細かなプリーツを施したボディーへ、ラフに切り取ったパーツを重ねるように配置。規則的に続くプリーツと、即興的に見える装飾が同居することで、一般的なカットソーとは異なる立体的な表情をつくります。

プリーツは身体の動きに合わせて伸縮し、腕を上げたとき、身体をひねったとき、アウターを重ねたときで、凹凸や装飾の重なり方が変化します。

服が固定された形を保つのではなく、着る人の身体と動きによって完成していく一着です。

Fabric / 素材について

素材には、ポリエステル100％の生地を使用しています。

軽やかなポリエステル素材へ細かなプリーツ加工を施すことで、平置きではコンパクトに見えながら、着用時には身体の動きに沿って横方向へ柔軟に広がります。

プリーツの山と谷によって生地が肌へ全面的に密着しにくく、さらりとした着用感を保ちやすいことも特徴です。

軽量でかさばりにくく、プリーツの方向へ沿って緩やかに丸めることで、一般的な平織り素材よりも折りジワが目立ちにくい構造。旅行や気温差のある日の着替えにも取り入れやすい素材です。

SESAMI LATTEでは、プリーツの凹凸に生まれる影が穏やかに現れます。色と陰影が柔らかく溶け合い、ラフカットされた装飾の立体感を静かに引き立てます。

Design / デザインについて

首元は、高さ約7cmのハイネック仕様です。

折り返して着るタートルネックよりもすっきりと立ち上がり、顔まわりへ端正な輪郭をつくります。一枚で着用するだけでなく、ジャケットやニットの襟元からプリーツを覗かせるレイヤードにも適しています。

REGULARは、CB着丈51cm、身幅34cm、肩幅26cm。平置きでは非常にコンパクトに見えますが、プリーツが横方向へ伸びることを前提とした設計です。

腰まわりを覆いすぎない着丈のため、ワイドパンツやロングスカートなど、分量のあるボトムと組み合わせても重心を高く保てます。

袖丈は58cm。袖にもプリーツとラフカットの装飾が続き、腕を動かしたときやアウターから袖口を覗かせたときにも、WAVE TOPらしい立体感が現れます。

SESAMI LATTEは、ホワイトよりも落ち着きがあり、一般的なベージュよりも曖昧さを感じさせるニュートラルカラーです。

Founded in 2015 by designer Kotoha Yokozawa, kotohayokozawa explores the relationship between clothing, emotion, and the behavior of the wearer.

About the Item

TDX6A-TDWR06 is a long-sleeved, high-neck version of the iconic todo WAVE TOP.

Fine pleats cover the body and sleeves, while freely cut decorative parts are layered across the surface.

The regular rhythm of the pleats contrasts with the spontaneous appearance of the decoration, creating depth that conventional cut-and-sew tops do not have.

The pleated fabric expands and contracts with the wearer. Its shadows, outline, and layered details change when moving the arms, turning the body, or wearing it beneath another garment.

Fabric

The garment is made from 100% polyester fabric with fine pleating.

Although the flat measurements appear compact, the pleats expand horizontally and adapt to the body. The surface has a smooth touch, moderate stretch, and enough structure to maintain its dimensional appearance.

The SESAMI LATTE color softens the shadows between the pleats, allowing the construction to appear calm from a distance and increasingly detailed when viewed closely.

The lightweight fabric is easy to carry. Loosely rolling it in the direction of the pleats also helps reduce conventional folding creases.

Design

The neckline is approximately 7cm high, creating a clean frame around the face without the volume of a folded turtleneck.
