【Super100s × Kid Mohair──張りとしなやかさのせめぎ合い】

主素材には、Super100sウールとキッドモヘヤをブレンドした高密度な混紡糸を使用。
それぞれの特性が拮抗することで、「張り」と「落ち感」が同居する独自のテキスタイルに仕上がっています。
• Super100s Wool（約17.5ミクロン）
繊細で柔らかく、ドレープ性に優れ、身体の動きに自然に沿う流れを描きます。
• Kid Mohair（生後1年未満のアンゴラヤギの毛）
コシのあるハリと軽さ、そして落ち着いた光沢感。
熱を逃がしやすく、長時間の着用でも蒸れにくいドライなタッチが魅力です。

この異素材のブレンドは、フォルムを支える構築力と、着心地としての柔らかさを両立。

【旧式ションヘル織機が織る、現代にはない「生地の厚み」】

この生地を織り上げているのは、尾州・葛利毛織のションヘル織機。
現代の高速織機に比べ、1日に織れる反数はごくわずかですが、
その“遅さ”が糸の風合いと奥行きを損なわず、ふくらみと空気を内包した質感を生み出します。

糸が暴れず、ゆっくりと丁寧に織られることで、
平面的ではない、生地そのものが呼吸しているような立体感が宿るのです。

【モヘヤトロピカルが導く、itochiらしいテーラリング】

これまでitochiでは、「スーツ地でつくる非スーツ」という手法で、
このフォーマル素材の持つ意外性や自由度を引き出してきました。
「相反する要素が同居していること」──それこそが、創作の軸でした。

しかし今季（25-26AW）はあえて、この生地に触れて第一に想起する形＝スーツの原型に立ち返ります。
• Double-Breasted Jacket
クラシカルな二つ釦のダブルブレスト型をベースに、
ディテールは極限まで削ぎ落とし、ステッチワークや袖口ボタンまわりも極めてミニマルに構成。
「これはスーツではない」と、一目で伝わる独自のバランス感覚を宿しています。
• Wide Tucked Pants
しなやかなドレープ性を活かすために、ウエストから太ももにかけて深めのタックを配し、
裾に向かっては自然に落ちる、柔らかくも構築的なシルエットを描きます。

裏地には、表地の質感に呼応するようにコットン素材を採用。
肌に直接触れる感覚にまで気を配り、素材の魅力を最大限に引き出す設計です。

this fabric offers more than just a sense of formality—there’s tension, nuance, and space to breathe.

This is the Kid Mohair Tropical by Kuzuri Keori, a renowned mill in Bishu, and a material itoχi has long trusted and returned to.
Its presence is undeniable—a fabric that speaks for itself, without explanation.

【Super100s × Kid Mohair — Where Softness Meets Structure】

The fabric blends high-density twisted yarns spun from Super100s wool and kid mohair.
The contrasting characteristics of these fibers create a one-of-a-kind textile—balancing crisp structure with soft fluidity.
• Super100s Wool (approx. 17.5 microns)
Fineness and suppleness define this ultra-fine wool, which drapes elegantly and moves naturally with the body.
• Kid Mohair (from angora goats under one year old)
Known for its dry hand, subtle sheen, and airy resilience, kid mohair brings structure and breathability to the mix.
It resists humidity and maintains comfort even over long wear.

Together, these fibers produce a material that supports form while remaining light and soft to the touch—

【Old Shuttle Looms, Unhurried Fabric】

The fabric is woven on vintage shonheru shuttle looms operated by Kuzuri Keori in Bishu.
Unlike modern high-speed machines, these looms operate slowly—
yielding only a small quantity per day but preserving the natural loft, texture, and character of the yarn.

The slow weaving process allows the fabric to hold air, movement, and dimensionality—
creating a surface that feels as if it’s gently breathing, not simply stretched flat.

【Tailoring Through the Lens of Material】

In the past, itoχi has used this formal cloth in unexpected ways—
twisting its conventional meaning by crafting casual, expressive garments from suiting fabric.
Because contrast—between ideas, textures, or expectations—has always been a central theme of creation.

But for the 25–26 AW season, we chose to return to the essence of the fabric:
to explore what form it immediately evokes—the suit—but on our terms.
• Double-Breasted Jacket
A classic two-button double-breasted silhouette—pared back to its purest form.
Minimal stitching, simplified cuff finishes, and detail restraint all serve to break from the traditional suit,
while embracing its structural elegance.
• Wide Tucked Pants
Designed to accentuate the soft drape of the material, the pants feature deep tucks at the waist and thighs,
falling into a natural, rounded shape.
The result is a structured silhouette that retains fluid movement.

The lining uses a soft cotton that complements the outer fabric,
enhancing both wearability and the fabric’s expressive capacity.
