【Wool × Cashmere Corduroy ─ 滅びゆく織物への敬意】
ウール93％×カシミヤ7％という稀少ブレンド。しっとりとした肌当たりと、起毛に宿る微細な光の陰影。
“畝”素材に、静かな緊張感と上品さを与えます。

【“色の奥行き”を仕込む、先染め】
一般的な後染めではなく、タテ・ヨコをそれぞれ染めてから織る先染め設計。
織りだけで深みのある色調を生み、本作のブラウンにも落ち着いた奥行きを与えます。

【ウールの機能 ─ “自動で快適”に近づける繊維】
ウールは大きく3層構造でできています。
・外側キューティクル（鱗状）：湿度でわずかに膨潤し、水蒸気を外へ通しやすくしながら、液体の水ははじきやすい。
・内側コルテックス：スポンジのように水分を吸収・放出（高い吸放湿性）。吸湿時にはわずかな発熱（ソープションヒート）が起こり、体感温度の揺らぎを穏やかにします。
・中心メデュラ（※繊維径により有無）：空気を含む中空部が断熱性と軽さに寄与。

結果として、ムレにくく、寒い時はあたたかく、暑い時は湿気を逃がすという、自然な“呼吸”を実現。

Wool × Cashmere Corduroy — An Homage to a Disappearing Textile
A rare wool–cashmere corduroy with a supple hand and fine nap.
Yarn-dyeing (pre-dyeing) of warp and weft creates depth of tone.

The Functionality of Wool — Nature’s Climate Control
Wool fibers comprise three main layers:
– Outer cuticle (scale layer): manages vapor exchange and sheds liquid water.
– Inner cortex: highly hygroscopic, absorbing and releasing moisture; uptake releases a small heat of sorption, smoothing temperature swings.
– Central medulla (present in some thicker fibers): traps air for insulation and lightness.
Together, wool breathes, buffers humidity, resists clamminess, and remains comfortable across changing conditions. It also tends to resist odor build-up and static.

From Bishu (weaving) to Enshu (special cutting/raising), this is a truly domestic corduroy.
Minimal patterning lets the vertical wales read clearly; deep tucks add vertical drape.
Fully lined (rayon–cotton) for comfort and longevity.
